Conservation ProjectsThe Lake District is an area of outstanding natural beauty and attracts many visitors each year. In view of this South Lakeland Parks are working with Cumbria Tourism Conservation Partnership to support local conservation projects and give something back to the environment. The Tourism Conservation Partnership supports conservation projects including repairing eroded footpaths, riverbanks and helping to protect rare species. South Lakeland Parks are currently helping to sponsor such projects.

Our Lake District Parks are located in protected woodland and countryside areas.
