Ribble Valley holiday park stages £150,000 open day

A HOLIDAY park in a Ribble Valley village is staging a family fun open day this month to promote tourism and holidays in the area.

John Glynn, manager of the Todber Holiday Park at Gisburn near Clitheroe, will be showing guests around the rural retreat on Saturday May 17th and explaining about life on the park which offers static caravans and luxury timber lodge holiday homes for sale.

There will be food served throughout, children’s entertainers with games, face painting, balloon modelling, kids karaoke and music from a guitar vocalist. The open day event follows a significant £150,000 investment in the park by parent company South Lakeland Parks.

The Todber site is just one of nine parks owned by the company which was bought out last year for £125 million. The park commands a superb view of famous Pendle Hill and regularly attracts visitors to the area and boosts the local economy.

Last year, the park began offering luxury pine lodge holiday homes as a result of growing popularity in the area as a holiday destination.
