Touring Holidays in the Lake District Facilities at a glance
 Touring on our parks:We offer touring only at our Lake District parks. FallbarrowLocated only a short stroll to Bowness village and the lake shore. Pitches at Fallbarrow are hard standing with spacious grass surrounds with private screening and with some ‘all-weather’ awning bases. We also provide for direct connection to water, waste, electricity and TV hook up. Full use of Fallbarrow’s facilities. Season length: 1st March - 14th November White Cross BayLocated between Ambleside and Bowness with direct lake access. Pitches are located in our Woodside touring area nestled within the park which is a short walk to the shores of Lake Windermere. Pitches are hard standing and provide electricity hook up. Use of White Cross Bay’s facilities. Charges to use the pool, sauna and gym will apply. Season length: 1st March - 14th November LimefittLocated in the picturesque Troutbeck Valley with fantastic views. All our touring pitches are super service pitches and are hard standing with grass surrounds with some offering ‘all-weather’ awning bases. They also provide direct connection to water, waste, electricity and TV. Full use of Limefitt’s facilities. Season length: 1st March - 14th November (Sorry no camping at any of our parks for 2009). Additional Information SUPER SERVICE PITCHES Our super service pitches for tourers at Fallbarrow and Limefitt allow you to hook up to your own individual water, electric stations, TV aerial points and grey water disposal. These ‘next generation’ pitches offer guests with suitably equipped ‘plug in’ tourers all the facilities of home. ON SITE FACILITIES All parks offer showers, toilets, washing facilities, launderettes and chemical waste disposal to make your stay more enjoyable. LEISURE FACILITIES All touring and motorhome guests are able to use the facilities at White Cross Bay at an additional charge. CHECK IN TIMES From 2pm. PITCH SIZES As our pitch sizes vary you need to advise us at time of booking of your tourer size. |
